Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro NM. Graduated with honors and ranked in the top 5% of my class.
Goals and Qualifications
My employment objective is to be instrumental in the growth and development of a corporation in the Petroleum field while continuing my career path in Petroleum Engineering, utilizing a hands-on drilling and production philosophy combined with my engineering education and experience.
I maintain knowledge of current oil field technology. I am proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, MS Word, and DIMS. I have successfully designed and drilled both conventional and horizontal oil and gas wells and overseen all operations while maintaining an excellent safety record. I have drilled underbalanced wells, CBM wells, and Horizontal pad wells. I have drilled wells for Anadarko, Samson, and Range Resouces as the operator.
I have extensive oil and gas operational experience and am skilled in the processes of drilling horizontal wells including short radius horizontal wells. I possess in-depth knowledge of top drive units, MWD technology, drilling exploratory wells, open- and cased-hole completions, basic fishing operations, running long strings of casing, cementing with multistage tools, running and cementing large size casing, and oil-based muds. I have proven experience in handling operational responsibilities and supervising all drilling operations.
