Specify and design optronic systems in cooperation with security and
defense companies (Safran-Sagem, Thales, Bertin Technologies...)
Systems addressed: surveillance systems for compound protection in
Afghanistan, optronic turret for next-generation land vehicles, field
surveillance systems using abandoned sensors
Organize qualification campaigns on the field to test systems developed
by the industrial partners to their limits
Systems tested: several infrared binoculars, cameras and scopes, acoustic
shooter detection systems (deployed in Afghanistan for soldiers and
vehicles), active imaging systems, field surveillance systems using
abandoned sensors
Address various observation and detection technologies such as
infrared cameras, active imaging systems, night vision goggles,
multispectral imaging systems, acoustic detection systems...

Set up vacuum quality control techniques on and at the end of the
