Developer, software and systems engineer, integrator or architect primarily of Unix systems (includes all the other Unix clones like Linux). I have processed many significant systems through the full life cycle in both government and commercial environments. I am looking for a long term situation to participate in the creation of new systems.

Unix development. Database
Experienced with relational data bases, various DB implementations of SQL. Experience with Informix, Sybase, Unify, MySQL, Oracle, R-Base, ISAM systems, B+Trees, and others. Every personnel record in the U. S. Army Perms System, and every fingerprint in the FBI Masterfile originally arrived there through networking systems I personally designed and developed; literally hundreds of terabytes of information that had to be reliably delivered error free.
Integration
Extensive software and hardware integration and testing experience within Unix environments. Chief Engineer in charge of the FBI's ITN Data Load integration effort, SGI, Ampex, HP, HIPPI Net and other components. Was Lab Team Leader for the development of a billion dollar Unix/Dos micro-computer government bid. RS6000 integration projects. Melding different components into a banking switch product. Merging resources for a DISA DNS monitor. Other integration efforts.
