Objective
I wish to continue my education and training in the field of welding, and become an asset to my future employer. I am highly motivated and require very little supervision in standard welding procedures.
Qualifications
I have experience (5+ years) in flux cord arc welding, shielded arc welding, and metal inert gas welding. Additionally, I have performed each of these techniques from various positions including pad welding. I have experience welding from heights, and in tight and confined spaces. I am very familiar with stress relief (pre and post heat) and with locating cracks on parts. I have welded on standard steel, cast iron, stainless steel, and aluminum.
In addition to various welding procedures, I have experience with different types of torches including oxy acetylene, mapp gas, and carbon arc. I have also performed brazing with 3/8 rod, and have chipped cast iron.

I also worked closely with the engineer to trouble shoot problems that would occur during the welding process, and help to develop workable solutions. Additionally, I was responsible for part setup including pre-heating, and the setup of our welding machine (wire speed, voltage). I performed various welding techniques while employed at Enprotech including pad welding, fill welding, and metal fabrication.
