Student for medical billing and coding
I am currently a student enrolled at Sandford Brown Medical Institute, pursuing a career in medical billing and coding. I am scheduled for graduation in August 2011. I am currently seeking an externship in the billing and coding department. I have successfully completed 11 of the 18 months required to graduate, with honor roll grades. At this time I have completed the required courses in: business English and Word Processing, Healthcare Systems and Legal Issues, Business Math and Spreadsheet Productions, Database Management, Healthcare Information Processing, ICD Coding Principles, Medical Software Applications, Pathologic Anatomy Physiology, and Diagnostic Anatomy and Physiology.
I intend to make medical billing and coding my profession. I am very anxious to begin an externship that will help launch my career and may possibly progress into a full time permanent position.

Guest Service Manager
As a guest service manager I was responsible for the guest representative team. Coaching sessions were held monthly for customer service exercises for the team, by me. In addition to being a team manager my responsibilities included making sure our guest received impeccable customer service. I often assisted the front desk with answering the phones, setting appointments, and checking our guest in and out, always making sure we exceeded their expectations. Complaints and negative issues were promptly handled personally by me, doing all I could to make sure our guest was happy when they left our spa.
Weekly sales reports were generated by me for each customer service representative, and sent to the corporate office. When goals were not met I would have a one on one coaching session with the team member. I was responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new gues...
