• This program is a 2-year assignment providing qualified entry level candidates with rotational work-experiences at our corporate headquarters in Wichita and at two other refinery/petrochemical locations. The goal of the program is for participants to develop an understanding of varied environmental regulatory requirements while demonstrating the ability to grow within FHR as environmental professionals and future leaders. Engaged mentorship is a hallmark of the ELP program.
Pine Bend Terminal Group (Rosemount, MN, US) June 2012 - April 2013
o Air Compliance, including management of Title V Operating Permit and Federally Enforceable State Operating.
o Waste Management Compliance, including profiling and annual reporting.
o Emergency Response Compliance, including maintaining SPCC, FRP and RMP plans and associated requirements, participating in emergency response drills and 24-hour on-call availability for significant incidents.
o Storm water and Wastewater Management per NPDES requirements.
o Proactively develop trusting relationships with regulatory agencies as appropriate.
o Provide high quality service to internal customers and stake holders.
o Assist in self-assessment and third party audits to verify compliance and system effectiveness.
o Assist in coordination of Environmental compliance management tool, system development and continuous improvement.
o Preparing or overseeing preparation of agency reports and certifications and ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Corpus Christi Refinery (Corpus Christi, TX, US) April 2013 – Current
o Review Compliance strategy for Subpart UUU bypass requirements in order to update Operation, Maintenance & Monitoring Plan (OMMP) plans.
o Manage Tank program from Environmental prospective (Kb, 30 TAC 115, HON Group 1 requirements).
