* Conduct research investigating decreased vascular reactivity of individuals with Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy (CAA) using functional MRI.
* Operate Siemens MRI scanner to acquire structural and functional images of human subjects for use in research.
* Devise data processing schemes for numerous projects involving coregistration and segmentation of MRI, CT and PET scans as well as the efficient organization of images.

* Created and tested algorithms to map T1 (longitudinal relaxation time constant) in phantoms and in human cardiac tissue, with emphasis on algorithmic speed and robustness as well as rapid imaging time.
* Initiated research using T1 maps as indicator of “grey zone” in infarcted cardiac tissue.
