Job Profile: - Had worked as a Field Support Engineer (FSE) on Alcatel SDH & DWDM in VSNL O&M (Operations & Maintenance) in Mumbai (LVSB)-CNOC (Central Network Operations Center).
• Worked on 1353NM and 1354RM Transmission NMS system of Alcatel.
• Maintaining uptime of the Alcatel equipments in VSNL backbone as per SLA.
• Alarm Monitoring, Fault Reporting and Fault Rectification in coordination with NOC Engineers.
• Ensuring adequate performance of NMS servers.
• Provisioning of Bandwidths. Traffic and Protection Planning.
• Integration & troubleshooting of SDH ALCATEL transmission equipment.
• Software downloading of 1660 mux, 1662 mux & 1642 mux.
• Measuring Tx & Rx power, Receiver sensitivity, checking optical loop.
• Diversely Routed Network Critical E1s to overcome failure in case of Multiple Fiber cuts and/or hardware failure to increase Resiliency.
