Objective:
Seeking an entry level LVN position offering the opportunity to provide compassionate direct patient care in a health care environment.
Summary of Qualifications:
Knowledge of general nursing procedures and techniques involved in patient care, disease processes, medical terminology, hospital routine and equipment.
Excellent ability to learn and operate a wide variety of hospital equipment.
Ability to recognize critical and significant change in patients.
Ability to administer Enteral G-tube and Nasogastric Tube feedings.
Ability to perform colostomy, ileostomy, and urostomy care.
Immense ability to accurately record patient information in the patient medical record and to notify appropriate personnel when deviations from the normal occur.
Ability to maintain HIPAA confidentiality of patients' medical and personal information.
Ability to lift and transfer up to 50lbs.
Strong knowledge of basic computer data skills.
Education/ Professional Training:
Vocational Nursing Diploma from Career Care Institute- Ventura, Ca September, 2009- February, 2011.
American Heart Association BLS Healthcare CPR/AED Certified.
ACLS Certified.
