First six months contracted through Aerotek in Temecula CA.
• Project Manager on a broad range of medical equipment procurement and upgrade projects for multiple countries brought in on time and within budget. Costs ranged from a few hundred dollars to a few million and the scope included electropolishing (chemistry), X-ray (10MeV Sterilization E-Beam), and laser projects.
• Equipment Project Manager on domestic and international product transfers for acquisitions and cost reduction. Upgraded equipment and documentation as necessary to comply with the internal quality and safety standards with one major international transfer becoming a flagship product line.
• Local Area Project Coordinator for the Advanced Engineering group to bring the team up to Class A Business Excellence project standards.
• Supervised two technician shops in different locations with up to seven technicians. Built an internal laser lab to assist in troubleshooting and assembly as well as developing one technician to directly support the laser engineer.
