Structural Engineer
Provided in-house engineering support through developing and reviewing design concepts, and performing civil tasks as requested. Scope of work included code driven design calculations and analysis for new construction; fitness for service evaluations; and redesign for continuing operation. Projects included airport terminals; concrete pre-stressed and post-tensioned structures; water treatment facilities; rectangular and circular reinforced concrete tanks; and metal structures.
- Responsible for preliminary structural calculations that were used in project bids.
- Supported project managers to win projects / contracts by developing design aspects of bid packages.
- Performed analysis of various pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete structures; as well as reinforced concrete, structural steel, timber, masonry, and building enclosure.
