Constanta Bypass – Romania: Quantity Surveyor – Conducting site supervision of construction works on behalf of the Romanian National Company for Motorways and National Roads (RNCMNR). I am responsible for estimating the scheduled completed works for the Contractor’s Schedule Interim Payment Applications. The works include: earthworks, pavement, bridgeworks, and utilities relocation. I also make possible for the Client to understand and apply the Contract specifications according to FIDIC Yellow Book.
2008/09 to 2010, Quantity Surveyor, Hyder Consulting (UK) Limited
Flood Damaged Bridges – Romania: Quantity Surveyor – Conducting site supervision of construction works on behalf of the Romanian National Company for Motorways and National Roads (RNCMNR). Mihai was responsible for measuring the completed works and visiting each site to assess the quantities for the Contractor’s Monthly Interim Payment Applications. The works included deck replacement, deck strengthening and new builds for a variety of bridges including R.C. and pre-tensioned beams, abutment repairs, joint replacement, bearing replacement and upgrading of both vehicle and pedestrian parapets. He also made possible for the Client to understand and apply the Contract Clauses according to FIDIC Red Book.
2007/06 to 2008/09, Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Roughton International
This position reports to the Assistant QS and is responsible for providing Site and Quantity Inspections, coordinate all field survey activities in all Phare 2003 sites, Follow and tracking Project Design Variations. The works included three major Construction Sites located North, South and Eastern Romania.
