27 successful years performing various environmental & project management roles with the Parsons Corporation supporting both private sector and US Department of Defense customers nationwide. Technical/Project Management focus highlights:
• 20+ years direct experience from technical staff, to technical lead, to project manager, to technical director on hazardous, industrial, and military (ordnance) waste projects for chemical refineries, industrial facilities, former industrial sites, and active and inactive government facilities.
• Broad experience managing/conducting RCRA permitting, compliance, and closure (design, oversight, and certification); RCRA/CERCLA remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, and remedial actions; inspection of facilities generating hazardous wastes.
• Managed state Superfund projects for PRP groups (investigation, remediation, post-closure care). Activities included coordinating and managing multi-party communications, regulatory negotiations, and planning, executing, and submitting reports for regulatory approval at each stage.
• 10+ years managing investigation/remediation projects with an emphasis on investigation and remediation under RCRA, CERCLA, and state program for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) at military and privately owned sites. Project value range from $800K to $13M
• Direct management of projects ranging from $25k to $13M, typically responsible for multiple concurrent projects.
• Received safety award from the Army Corps of Engineers for project performance on 8 year/$13M removal action (completed in 2009).
