• Analyzed and enhanced the structural integrity of the patented special structure under environmental, transportation, and blast loading in compliance with respective design codes/standards.
• Managed a testing lab to validate and verify the analysis results and to secure the CSC/ISO shipping container certificate, to control product quality on EPS foam, aluminum structural insulated panels (SIPs), patented aluminum extrusion joints and steel frame fabrication by following ASTM methodologies.
• Contributed several potentially patentable solutions in developing new products and improving existing products.

• Performed analyses and designs of a wide range of structures to protect against airblast, fragment impact and high wind loads using approaches from simplified analysis to more sophisticated finite element modeling and simulation.
• Conducted many investigations on explosion and other disaster events, and analyzed the structural damage data to find the root causes.
