Junior Drilling Engineer
• Project engineer for an exploration and evaluation project in Missouri. Led to the discovery of more than 5 million barrels of recoverable heavy oil.
• Acted as a liaison between Murchison Oil and Gas and the head geologist of Missouri's Department of Natural Resources to insure compliance in coring programs with state laws.
• Completed 300+ permits for coring and abandonment locations as per the State of Missouri's laws.
• Developed and implemented the well capping and abandonment program still in use by the coring crew. Witnessed onsite operations to ensure company compliance.
• Performed initial reserve calculations for the rough determination of oil reserves of the coring project.
• Developed daily maps of coring locations for Murchison executives and for the coring crew.
• Worked closely with the tool pusher in the daily management of equipment, lab crew, and coring crew.
• Was trained on logging equipment and then logged all cored holes. These logs include gamma ray and dual-induction logs. Logged 100+ cored holes.
• Learned and used WellCAD to take raw data from the logging equipment and turn it into usable logging charts for the company geologists to compare with the coring data accumulated by the coring crew.
• Developed a training manual for the use of the field logging equipment and the WellCAD software suite.

• In New Mexico, worked as a junior drilling engineer to develop deep horizontal wells in excess of 15,000 feet TVD.
• Assisted in the development of the drilling procedure manuals for the drilling crew and company men.
• Developed the wellbore diagrams for wells drilled using Well Shadow.
• Produced daily reports for Murchison executives including cost vs. depth curves, day vs. depth curves, on-site inventory lists, material transfer of tools and equipment, and scheduled various service companies as needed.
