I am a senior project manager responsible for the management of large, complex, multi-year strategic and technical projects. I possess 18+ years of project management experience and have developed into an expert in project management methodologies and tools. Having worked 25 years in both technology infrastructure and software development fields and I possess extensive expert in a number of technical consultative services. My breadth of experience has exposed me to diverse, enterprise level systems and projects many involving the replacement or upgrade of legacy systems. I have managed projects that involved multiple business units and vendors and have worked with executives and managers from all levels of an organization. In all my projects I am rigorous in the management of plans, resources, issues, change and risks and ensure that all levels of management are informed on project schedule and status. In previous positions I was responsible for continuously improving project methodology using LEAN, Agile and CMMI frameworks. I also have extensive experience with MS Project and structuring SharePoint to effectively support document management requirements. Project / Site Manager responsible working with VA hospital staff and contractors to design, install and implement a Hewlett Packard Enterprise Real Time Logistics/Location System (RTLS) at the Veterans Administration American Lake and Seattle Hospital sites. I am also performing as the backup and consultant for the Portland and Vancouver site installations. My requirements included the creation of a facility specific RTLS implementation which addressed all tasks and subtasks necessary to complete the RTLS implementation at the facility including a detailed timeline and required resource review. This implementation plan was composed of a master schedule; milestones and expectations of the VISION 20 VA hospital staff and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Systems team members. It also included specific descriptions of how the system would be deployed, installed and integrated into the VA’s existing operational system. I was responsible for all subcontract bidding and eventual determination of contractors chosen and work performed onsite in conjunction with hospital engineering and design staff requirements. I was also responsible for any systems debugging and all training requirements to insure complete customer satisfaction and approval at the site.

Primary project manager responsible for the implementation of Hewlett Packard Asset Management inventory tracking system to consolidate five existing legacy systems which were at end of life cycle difficult to support and unable to share data. Established a lightweight Scrum project management and change management process utilizing information technology infrastructure organization and worked with team to meet sprint goals. Project hand off was completed in early 2014 to a St. Louis counterpart. Project was instrumental in reducing operational risks, increasing operating efficiencies and available features while gaining a multi-million dollar cost savings.
