SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Drove and secured funding for new energy
projects. While leading projects for Reznate in
post-conflict Liberia, recognized opportunity
for expansion. Developed strategic roadmap to
attract investment partners. Coordinating with
USAID, EU, World Bank, Asian Development Bank
and Norway, planned and secured $12M new funding
for power grid upgrades. Projects currently
underway for generation/distribution networks
with leading energy and solar firms.
Slashed contract implementation cycle time and
costs. Reznate needed improve pre-construction
implementation and procurement processes to
eliminate deviations from project plans/budgets.
Developed new systems/processes, including FAR
and USAID-compliant procurement planning. Cut
cycle time 33%, saving $450K in annual costs.
Spearheaded award-winning anti-ram project in
Iraq. USAID needed to fortify Green Zone
facilities in Iraq but was dissatisfied with
costs/timeline from leading global contractor.
Taking over project, designed and managed
construction of first US mortar-proof building
in the Middle East. Completed project in only
six months, coming in 3% under budget. Won
multiple USAID awards. Building has safely
sustained up to 10 mortar hits per day.
Developed global project methodology. High
costs/limited budgets forced USAID to seek new
solutions for self-contained residential/office
facilities in high-risk areas. While leading
programs in Iraq, Afghanistan and Sudan totaling
$53M, developed self-design/construction process
that was replicated on all high-risk USAID
projects worldwide.
Created cost model to win World Bank
investments. Reznate needed to increase
competitiveness for contracts in West Africa.
