Westar La Cygne site manager interfacing directly with KCPL plant management, engineering, maintenance, operations, craft, contractors, and environmental engineers. Assists plant staff in identifying operational or maintenance problems needing improvement or modifications for improving availability, reliability, efficiency and safety.
Westar project manager for the new 1.23 billion La Cygne environmental retrofit project. In this capacity he was on the project review team responsible for OEM proposal evaluation, technical and commercial negotiations, and award recommendations. At the site he is responsible for
project management, commercial, schedule, cost control, engineering and construction progress validation for the complete AQCS project.

Brayton Point is a nominal 700MW coal-fired unit. Lead Process Engineer and supported
Estimating and Business Development for full engineering, procurement, construction and
startup of a unique Alstom NID dry flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system and baghouse as part
of an EPC contract.
Dave Johnson Units 3 and 4 are coal-fired units, 230 MW and 330 MW, respectively. Proposal
and engineering services provided for full engineering, procurement, construction and startup of
a new dry flue gas desulfurization (FGD) system and baghouse as part of a joint venture EPC
contract.
Project manager for the in house chimney design. Responsible to ensure all engineering
project work meets all commitments to the client consistent with the Company Quality Plan.
Maintains lead communicator position with client, manages client expectations, advises senior
management on project status, provides leadership, definition and direction to the project team.

Bowen Units 1 and 2 are 700 MW and Units 3 and 4 are 880 MW coal-fired units. Engineering
services provided for full engineering, procurement, construction and startup for Chiyoda AQCS
and Chimney. Engineering services provided for this project included Fiberglass Reinforced
Plastic design, procurement, construction support and process design engineering.
Principal research engineer responsible for all Georgia Power Yates Unit 1 conceptual and
process engineering for SO2, SO3, mercury, water and other air quality control research
projects. Responsible for all engineering, design, construction, commissioning, start-up and
testing activities to assure start-up within project schedule and budget.
