I am a dedicated worker seeking employment in the field of Civil Engineering. I am a willing worker who will do what it takes to succeed at any job or task of choice. Honesty, integrity, and dedication are traits that drive me each day. I have great personality and a tremendous drive; both of which would make a great addition to any employer’s business.
Education
Arizona State University – Tempe, AZ (2012) (Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering)
Classes: - Senior Design: Organized as a team to construct a square mile subdivision. Coordinated together and planned the area based on Structural, Water Resources, Environmental, Transportation, and Geotechnical Engineering.
- Construction Engineering: Studied the topics of contracts, bidding, estimating, scheduling, cash flow, safety, labor issues, equipment ownership, and productivity.
- Structural Analysis: Reviewed structural concepts and techniques for trusses, beams, and frame structures.
- Concrete Structures: Investigated the behavior of concrete structures and the design of reinforced and prestressed concrete members, including footings. Also, reviewed the partial design of concrete building system.
- Steel Structures: Reviewed the behavior of structural components and systems, design of steel members and connections, and load and resistance factor design methods.
- Water Resources Engineering: Investigated hydrologic engineering, including rainfall-runoff modeling and hydrologic frequency analysis. Analysis and design of hydraulic systems such as pipe networks and storm water management systems.
- Fluid Mechanics: Studied methods of fluid mechanics forming the analytical basis for water resources engineering. Also investigated conduit and open channel flow. Lab-based.
- Environmental Engineering: Studied concepts of air and water pollution; environmental regulation, risk assesspment, chemistry, water quality modeling, water and wastewater treatment systems designs. Lab-based.
- Transportation Engineering: Investigated highway types and systems, principles of route location, vehicle characteristics, highway geometrics and design standards, drainage, environmental considerations, pavement design, and economic principles and engineering criteria for highway improvements.
- Highway Geometric Design: A continuation of Transportation Engineering, learned the design of visible elements of roadway, design controls, at-grade intersections, freeways, and interchanges. Lab-based.
- Geotechnical Engineering: Studied index properties and engineering characteristics of soils. Compaction, permeability and s...
