Industrial work experience
2006 – 2007 Rolls Royce
• Successfully completed a student project for Rolls Royce which was based on developing an efficient testing rig for fan blades.
• My role was assistant project manager so had to assist the project manager and support my colleagues. I also organised tasks and monitor funds for the group.
• Won a Rolls Royce award for best design.
Summer 2007 Lavally Water Limited, Nigeria.
Successfully completed an internship as a production Engineer my duties involved;
• Using Lean techniques to identify and eliminate waste in the assembly lines.
• Preparing bills of material (BOM).
• Scheduling parts for assembly.
• Controlling inventory with Material Requirements planning (MRP) software.
