Senior Materials Engineer, Lexmark, 11/06 - present
• Work with design, development and manufacturing teams to support current Lexmark products and/or develop new products.
• Perform failure analysis (electrical and/or physical) on materials and electric devices (ceramics, metals, polymers, photoresists, Si chips, TAB circuits, flex cables, ICs, PCBAs, LED sensors, DC motors, etc) from both internal and external customers, and determine corrective action.
• Conduct electronic component reliability tests and characterization for vendor selection, supplier capability validation, process auditing and field issue supports.
• Provide consultation support for new materials and technologies development.
• Collaborate with internal/external laboratories in materials analysis.
