* Programming Graphic User Interface files to existing OCT Imaging Code to find the difference in processing speed of the CPU versus GPU and coding imaging files to find epineurium thickness of a rat sciatic nerve.

* In a team of six, managed and led a team of 54 high school and college students to Port Shepstone, South Africa to volunteer at a local high school (Merlewood Secondary School) teaching HIV/AIDS education. Also helped at a local HIV/AIDS hospice (Genesis Center) providing general care, meals, and occupational therapy to the patients.
