Currently working as a Senior Advisor IS Architect from November 2008 till current date.
Responsibilities
• Serving as a Lead Engineer for Consolidated Building Management System in new build power station.
• Involved in designing and integrating various systems that is essential for the safety and security of the power station employees and plant.
• Provide power utility specific technology solution for new power plants based on strategy and mandate.
• Develop; present various solutions to the Eskom Engineering and Governance committees that resolve challenges faced in integrating different systems together, and getting approval.
• Recommend and coordinate with different disciplines and functional areas that are responsible for new build projects.
• Develop a financial model for the business unit and provide valuable input.
• Manage the practical interpretation and realization of the IM/IS Strategy
