Unique Qualifications: Highly motivated technical operations specialist, most recently assigned to be the sole Crew Escape Equipment (CEE) representative at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), responsible for all technical, logistical, and problem solving CEE support during launch and pre-launch operations at KSC, looking for challenging work in the Aerospace or Related Defense Dept. Contract Industries

• Sole ‘forward – deployed’ KSC interface for Shuttle Crew Escape Equipment
• Process highly complex systems including, but not limited to Launch/Entry Pressure Suit, Space Station emergency egress breathing systems, Shuttle Training Air Craft oxygen systems, communications systems and all other CEE components to support launch and pre-launch activities
• Support Hardware Failure and Problem Solving Investigations to support and repair systems as necessary, Including but not limited to communications devices, oxygen systems, cooling systems for CEE
• Write Work Authorization Documents (WADs) to implement procedures to process CEE in support of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) and Launch.
• Coordinate Ground Operations logistics and quality support for processing, shipping and receiving of all CEE hardware.
• Perform technical tasks as requested by our NASA customer and the CEE subsystem manager.
• Write WADs and perform processing of NASA owned hardware including the Spacehab Emergency Breathing System and the Portable Breathing Apparatus used on the International Space Station.
• Maintain Ground Support Equipment used in Crew Quarters suit lab.
• Maintain lab resident procedures in suit lab to ensure that latest revisions are always available and used.
• Maintain records for CEE processing for submittal to Quality Records Center for updating Data Packs following each TCDT and Launch flow. Initiated this procedure to reduce duplication of effort in maintenance of Data Packs.
• Initiate, maintain, and distribute Orbiter Crew Communications Matrix for configuration management at KSC. Copies are also distributed to Ground Operations engineering and the Launch control team.
• Perform Mid-deck locker close-out as required and other tasks as assigned by management and our NASA customer.

• Tracked, allocated hardware, and wrote WAD’s to support processing of shuttle crew escape equipment.
• Played significant role in implementing the use of Lab Resident Procedures in the CEE lab in order to reduce amount of paper used and to reduce the time required to release WAD’s to the lab.
• Played significant role in the establishment of satellite stores in order to reduce time required to obtain and store “high use” hardware in order to increase productivity.
