Provide technical support to customer development activities in Italian avionics lab.
8/97 – 6/06 Project Manager
Project manager for several government contracts. Project management responsibilities include oversight of all engineering development activities, definition of customer requirements, liaison between software and hardware departments, proposal preparation and negotiation, and maintaining customer relations. Lead hardware and software development teams from requirements definition to system installation and integration at remote customer sites. Maintain system development schedules and develop risk reduction plans as required.
5/95 – 8/97 Lab Manager
Manager of “video on demand” development lab used to perform integration of hardware, software, and network components and staging of customer equipment. Support Army Tactical Command & Control Systems (ATCCS) integration and test. Manager of ATCCS network integration lab used to support development of distributed data systems for combat developers. Lead electrical engineer in the NASA Propulsion Test department responsible for management of all systems engineering activities in the department. Duties include technical oversight of engineers and technicians on multiple propulsion projects, maintaining department schedules, and defining work level requirements for the customer.
