• Responsible for Capital and Expense Project Engineering for Powerhouse (Utilities), Fiberline, Product Unit and Woodyard
• Upgraded Recovery Boiler Vent Stack Scrubber to meet Environmental Compliance, involved piping design, selection of Scrubber Pump, Fan, Demisters and Venturi
• Installed Steam Traps on the 1200# Steam Headers, 1200psi/170psi PRVs to prevent line hammering, included selection of Steam Traps and piping design
• Pipe Hanger Upgrade, worked with a Consultant to repair and replace Pipe Hangers on the 1200 psi Steam Line in the Utilities Area
• Installed Face Wire Cleaning Shower on the 4th Brown Stock Washer and Bleached Decker included piping modifications, resulted in improved washing and drainage, and overall chemical savings
• Upgraded Lime Kiln Chain with Jammbco Chains, resulted in better and efficient Lime Mud drying and increased fuel savings
• Replaced Falling Film Surface Condenser
• Replaced Tanks at the Crude Tall Oil and Chlorine Dioxide Plant
• Replaced Tertiary Rejects Screen Tank and Pump
• Upgraded the Bark Hog System, resulted in reduced opacity in the Bark Boiler
