Surf guard – Clark's lifeguard services
• I was a part of a team responsible for guarding the National Park Beaches in Prince Edward Island.
• As required for this job I received training in First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillator, and Oxygen usage.
• Being able to remain calm and react appropriate to various situations was vital on any given day.
• A judgment call on surf conditions had to be made daily and reported back for public knowledge.

Stratford Watershed
• I worked as a part of a four person team in the Stratford and Area Watershed Improvement Group (SAWIG).
• Worked with minimum supervision and was responsible for assessing various environmental aspects of the town of Stratford, PEI, and area.
