Serve as communications liaison between city and county officials, and the banking community for the Treasurer of State.

Perform compliance inspections on permitted solid waste facilities, such as Class I, Class III, and Class IV landfills, transfer stations, material recovery facilities, and Class Y and Class O compost facilities. Investigate and evaluate the environmental impact of sites relating to remediation funding. Investigate citizen complaints regarding illegal dumping and evaluate environmental impact of these sites. Maintain databases regarding facility compliance and complaint investigations. Assist facility managers and employees with matters regarding compliance issues.
