Professional Experience Highlights

Account Management (Freight Forwarding)
• Working with trucking companies offering our logistic services. Daily account management of existing accounts. Responsible for facilitating transportation of produce, nursery plants and trees from the growers and brokers to the buyer via trucking companies.
• Negotiate rates, fees, and time-tables with trucking companies for on-time delivery and unloading of the product for the growers and produce brokers.

Internal Order Desk
• Account Management on several accounts. This includes daily contacts with existing accounts on their Orders. Global Item Maintenance Team
• An integral part of a small team responsible for converting existing data into the correct format for a company-wide software change from MXP to Oracle.
• Assisted in the creation and testing of the scripts used to train all employees on how to use Oracle.
• Verified all of the data produced by Oracle once the system was live including accounting, order flow, shipping methods, shipping addresses, and payment to third-party vendors.
• Responsible for maintaining existing part numbers and setting up new part numbers in the Oracle and MXP databases as part of a team. This included sole responsibility for maintaining existing kits and setting up new kits as the engineering department changed or created internal kits.
• Created a request form in SharePoint which was used by drillers and buyers to request the setup of new part numbers which automatically routed requests to my team, accounting, buyers, and internal customs department.

Data Management Specialist
• Individually responsible for maintaining an accurate and current catalogue of equipment and replacement parts for two very large mines.
• Update contracts with existing suppliers for replacement parts on the mining equipment which includes verifying availability of parts, delivery time, and cost.
