Design Projects
• Design of a two-span pedestrian reinforced concrete bridge in accordance with ACI 318-11. Structural analysis of girder, slab, and column were performed using SAP2000. A self-written fiber discretization program was developed in Excel and Matlab to calculate flexural and shear reinforcement. Professional design drawings were generated using AutoCAD.
• Team Lead/Structural Analysis Lead in Senior Design Class consisting of an autonomously programmed, robotic crane. Helped to lead a team of eight in conceptual design, creative thinking, fabrication, structural analysis and testing. A Gantt chart was used to keep to strict deadlines. All structural analysis was performed using SAP2000, while the final design was modeled using SolidWorks. Led the team to a Second Place overall (15 teams total).

• E.I.T. Certified (May 2012)
• Working Knowledge of SolidWorks, SAP2000, and RISA, as used to design, analyze and model various projects and design competitions
• Extensive Experience with Microsoft Office to report, display, clarify, and analyze results/data from copious engineering projects
• General Familiarity with MathCad to produce professional quality engineering reports for various projects
• Experience using AutoCAD for generating professional design drawings
• Knowledge and Experience with ASCE, AISC, ACI, AASHTO, LRFD, AISC 341-10SP, AWWA D100, AWWA D103 design codes
• Experience interpreting and analyzing professional design drawings and building plans
• Highly proficient in Spanish
