• In charge of Fukushima accident analysis by EPRI’s severe accident code
• In charge of fire PRA, mainly on evaluating heat release rates for electric panel and on testing to evaluate zones of influence for fires that originate due to arcing faults in high-voltage equipment.
• Make presentations on Fukushima accident, severe accident analysis, and external event PRA at conferences, symposiums, universities, etc.
• Prepare for and attend technical visit from Japan to nuclear power stations, seminars and conferences.

Introduced risk-monitor system and conducted modification of maintenance schedule during plant outage, based on the risk evaluation including deterministic and PSA, while coordinating with other departments inside company.
• In charge of PSA required in Periodic Safety Review (PSR).
• Supported the licensing of nuclear power station with taking charge of the accident analysis and the radiological consequence assessment on the safety review by the Regulator.
• Conducted collection and analysis of plant data, handled questions related to accident management and other safety issues, and wrote official technical documents released by company, for restoration work undertaken after the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant.
• In charge of radiological consequence assessment in case of disruption of water injection equipments for reactor pressure vessel and primary containment vessel after the Fukushima accident.
• In charge of external PSA for the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant.
• In charge of translating overseas technical documents from English to Japanese in order to increase knowledge and efficiency through benefiting from international experience.
• Organized the international nuclear conference ICAPP2009 (International Congress on Advances in Nuclear Power Plants).
