• Reverse engineered Motorola Droid and Apple iPhone to examine material composition within the phones
• Analyzed microstructure, chemical composition, crystallography and physical properties of the phones
• Utilized SEM, FTIR, XRD, and EDS

Composite Design, Materials Laboratory January 2013-May 2013
• Designed a polyurethane matrix composite material, within the constraints of strength, cost, and density to be used in a uniaxial tensile loading application
• Analyzed data to interpret the optimal multiphase composite system for a 100 lb. load in a downhaul for naval applications
