WORK HISTORY
1989 – Present President, Gencon Building Corporation, Fall River, MA. Design/Build company of commercial and residential properties. Duties include: Bottom line profit/loss responsibilities, full administrative functions, negotiations with contractors, financial analysis and projections, budget analysis, estimating, subcontractor and vendor coordination.
1984 – 1989 Operations Manager, R. H. White Construction Company, Inc., Auburn MA. Responsible for company-wide operational control of all projects in three operating divisions (Building, Mechanical & Pipeline), doing $62M in sales with an average of over 80 projects in process.
1980 – 1984 Western Division Manager, Duggan Industries Corporation, Brooklyn, NY. Established Western Division office in El Paso, TX and took sales from zero to $26M in 1983. Reported directly to the president with full profit/loss responsibility for the Division. Projects included process piping, equipment installation and rigging. Clients included Frito-Lay, Hoffman Larouche, Phelps-Dodge, Proctor and Gamble, Asarco, and Allied Chemical.
1975 – 1979 Middle East Manager, Arthur D. Little International, Cambridge, MA Served as consultant to the Ministry of Industry and Electricity, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Designed, developed, and constructed electric power stations throughout the Middle East. Developed a methodology for bringing together design and construction teams for turn-key power station construction.
1972 – 1974 Project Manager, Contracting & Engineering Services, Swansea, MA. Duties included project management, estimating and sales in a cast-in-place and pre-cast structural concrete company.
