Resume

Objective: To obtain an entry-level engineering job in surface science or materials, with a special interest in space applications
Education:
Masters of Science in Nuclear Engineering, Purdue University, Aug 2013 3.19/4.00
Thesis: Electron Roles in Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography Mirror Contamination and Flashover
Bachelors of Science in Nuclear Engineering, Purdue University, May 2009 3.16/4.00
Experience:
Research Assistant at Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN: Sep 2009 – Aug 2013.
--Assembled an in-situ system of ultra-high vacuum chambers, performed maintenance and upkeep.
--Simulated Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography mirror contamination in an unbaked high vacuum environment by measuring buildup of carbon and oxygen on ruthenium films, in order to determine orientation of the molecules and dipoles formed at the surface.
--Determined a mitigation strategy for mirror contamination due to hydrocarbon breakdown via electrons by re-directing photoelectrons from the beam path.

--Captured in real time a surface flashover effect with secondary electron spectroscopy, while determining a dependence on energy change direction.
