Description –
Price Repository Scrubber (PRS) is an enterprise rule engine which receives pricing feeds from various industry leading vendors like Bloomberg, IDC & Reuters etc. The raw prices undergo rule hierarchy engine and creates a golden price (master price) for assets held by various systems at Northern Trust. The application is designed to derive best price by performing checks like tolerances, comparative analysis and majority rule etc. The winning prices are sent down to various systems holding securities. Some of the key application modules of PRS application are price loads, sync loads, price rule engine, exports etc. The technologies used by core engine are C++, UNIX & Oracle 11g and application feeds in Mainframe, DB2 and COBOL. The frontend which consumes the data is Power-builder and MS .Net.
Major Responsibilities -
Understand Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and scope of work for new projects

These applications were custom ETL tools for generating data warehouse for health care data analytics. Some of the key features of applications were developed to manage information relating to drug usage by region, market by geographies, monitor progress of drub profiles etc. Each application belongs to this set delivers accurate perspectives and in-depth analytics on healthcare dynamics. The application was used by IMS clients, who are decision makers in life sciences, payers, providers or policymakers, clients own analytical group, commercial services and consulting capabilities.
