Working on a bonding process for a high temperature shape memory alloy system. Research includes bond time/temperature requirements and their effect on the bond stability. Scanning Electron Microscope was used for bond characterization, phase identification and composition.

Undergrad Coursework included research comparing heavy metal content levels women’s eye shadows based on color. ICP-AES was used to attain values.
• Concluded there was high degree of correspondence between color and heavy metal content
• ICP-AES was an appropriate way to measure values of metal content in eye shadow.
• Found significant amounts of heavy metals in eye shadow, health hazards inconclusive.
