Worked with MSHA to address safety concerns at the Whitestone Mine and implemented new instrumentation to monitor stresses in the pillars of the underground mine. Worked on short-range, mid-range, and life of mine for all of Imerys North America operations using Whittle Optimization Software and Surpac™ modeling software. Performed routine site visits at all operations to address various engineering concerns at each operation.

Prepared feasibility study and cash flow analysis for sister company, Tamerlane Ventures, Incorporated on a lead/zinc deposit in the Northwest Territories. Met with contractors and vendors to pursue construction agreements for the development of the Tamerlane Ventures Project. Designed underground infrastructure for a new portal in the Sigma Pit for Century Mining Corporation in Val-d’Or, Quebec and estimated ore reserves using Vulcan modeling software. Prepared detailed schedules of mine plans and underground mine development using Microsoft Project Professional.
Prepared cash-costs for NI43-101 compliant documents and prepared permits and designs for regulatory committees for the development of a new underground portal and exploration drifts. Worked closely with the senior and chief engineer to develop a detailed production and exploration schedule at the Sigma/Lamaque Mine in Val-d’Or Quebec.
