Implemented a water treatment facility in a village in Tamale, Ghana that would provide clean drinking water to 67 households
Trained four local village women on the process of treating water as well as operation and management of the water treatment business
Monitored the use of the facility by visiting households and taking samples of the drinking water

Developed a simple, low cost, quantitative, and portable test to measure the performance of ceramic filters by creating a dry powder hydrogen sulfide test to use at Pure Home Water factory, located in Tamale, Ghana and potentially other ceramic filter factories around the world
Developed a method to test the efficacy of the hydrogen sulfide test by using prepared E.Coli cultures and cross-checking with Quanti-Tray tests
Trained two undergraduates on laboratory processes and techniques relating to project
