A recent graduate of Virginia Tech with a Civil Engineering degree focused in Structures and three summer internships worth of real-world structural experience. Received numerous awards and scholarships throughout college while managing to also take two graduate-level structures classes; setting his qualifications well above his peers for entry-level engineering positions.
Recently certified as an Engineer in Training (EIT).

Structural Intern - American Water Corporate Engineering
May 2010 to January 2013 (employed during summer and winter breaks)
- Have increasingly earned responsibilities over past three summers
- Structural design, analysis, and inspection of various water utility
structures
- Earned a great deal of real world experience on construction sites all
over Northeast America including construction management, designer-
contractor relations, contractor/supplier accreditation, project
deliveries, and general contract knowledge
- Involvement also with water resources, land development, and surveying
