SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS
I have been practicing Human Factors and Systems Engineering for the past fifteen years. Research experience includes the usability of web applications and the use of touchscreen displays on hand held devices. Past work experience includes leading the Nighttime Flight Certification of the F-35 where I had to learn the Helmet Mounted Display and Canopy Transparency systems and how they worked together. Additional work has included rain repellency research and application on fighter jet canopies. I have applied systems knowledge in order to implement full Prognostic and Health Management (PHM) on the F-35. Ergonomics knowledge and principles have been applied to the design of submarine and air carrier command and control consoles/work stations. I have also developed and taught a Human Factors class for fellow engineering colleagues. As Systems Engineer, I am able to lead and manage system integration projects, apply experience in requirements capture and management, derivation and allocation. I have a wealth of experience collecting and analyzing data to be presented at design reviews while effectively communicating progress and laying out the path forward to her customers. I thrive in working with people thus am able to work well with multi-disciplined teams and have developed excellent horizontal integration ability. I have succeeded in leading projects, managing supplier relations, satisfying customer needs and expectations through resourceful problem solving and accurate communication. I am also the Owner and Founder of I-D-E, LLC a company committed to provide high quality technical expertise in the areas of Systems, Human Factors and Software Engineering, Ergonomics and Programming. The ability to understand highly complex systems combined with knowledge in Human Factors and Systems Engineering principles qualifies me to work in diverse fields where state of the art technology is implemented. As the Technical Chair, I am responsible for the development of the technical program for the Annual Meetings of the Society. Duties include but are not limited to soliciting, reviewing, selecting and organize, as appropriate, proposals for lecture papers, symposia, panels, and other events and activities to be sponsored by the SDTG. Responsible for defining criteria for and then selecting the best technical papers, in each of several categories, presented in SDTG-sponsored sessions of the Annual Meeting or published in the SDTG Newsletter.

Technical Lead for Human Factors Engineering for an International Program (HELIX) which later became an FMS Case (UK RJ). Managed budget, schedule, resources and all tasks related to HFE. Developed and executed test plans, authored deliverables and managed program’s requirements in DOORS while committed to best practices in customer relations with both UK MoD and USAF. All deliverables were always on time and within budget. Assisted the Supportability Engineering Team in the planning and execution of Training, Safety and Reliability & Maintainability tasks. Received Achievement Award for excellent performance.
Authored Human Systems Integration technical write up for the KC-10 proposal and proposed a new IPT structure to better incorporate the HFE, R&M and Safety functions in to the future program.
Acted as Supportability Engineering liaison to Constant Hawk-Afghanistan coordinating Safety and R&M tasks.
Author and analyst of the Constant Hawk-Afghanistan FRACAS monthly reports to the customer. Support to field engineers on FRACAS data collection and capture.
Authored AIMS C-20B and AIMS VC-25A Human Engineering Reports and presented all analyses and findings at CDR for the VC-25A. Authored and executed informal assessment for the C-20B Head-Strike-Zone which helped the ODA organization establish if further testing would be needed before proceeding with FAA certifications.
Co-author of the first Glass Cockpit FMECA performed at L-3/MID. Responsible for FMECA analysis in RELEX ®. Team player with Systems Engineering Avionics and Communications teams.

F-35 Air Vehicle Design Integration: Human Systems Integration
Successfully lead and executed the F-35 AA-1 certification for night flight. This certification was a major milestone in the program. Awarded Special Recognition Award for outstanding leadership and accomplishment.
Lead, organized and coordinated Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) prior to the execution of the F-35 AA-1 night flight certification.
