Current Position:
Alion Science and Technology, Systems Engineer
• Mr. Nuckles Currently works in SolidWorks Model and Simulation generation/analysis of electrical and mechanical components of the Vertical Launching System (VLS) Launcher for the Department of the Navy Surface Ship Weapons. His focus is on Shock and Vibration analysis of the system and the goal of his analysis is to pinpoint problems within the Launcher and suggest appropriate changes to lead engineers. In addition to this he accepts additional electrical and mechanical engineering tasks from lead project engineers and directly from the program manager as required.

• Theoretical Physics (i.e. Thermo/Fluid Dynamics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity,
and Electricity & Magnetism).

• Designing and running experiments in non-linear optics and mechanics.
• Representing experimental results in cohesive reports and data tables.
• Creating new lab setups to expedite and simplify experiments for future use.

• Provide Budget and Financial Management Support to the Department of the Navy’s Integrated Warfare Systems
for the Department of Defense.
• Support Foreign Military Sales as a Control analyst and Budget Manager
• Report directly to Task Leads and Program Managers on current and anticipated allocations and expenditures of
funds and create data pools for anticipated funds and carryover.
