Graduate Research Assistant: June 2012 to December 2013 at Ben T. Zinn Combustion Laboratory (Georgia Institute of Technology)
• Worked as part of an AFOSR-funded team on a multi-year study of compressible turbulence generation
• Operated a supersonic wind tunnel and collected data in support of a fellow student’s PhD Thesis
• Prepared the supersonic wind tunnel for its future role in the project
• Designed a schlieren optical system for the project
• Designed a well-conditioned turbulent jet to test a two-point laser velocimetry system
• Wrote a research paper on turbulence generation that will help guide future tests done by the research team
