Specifications Engineer
•Design custom cables to fit customer needs, including CAT5/Cat6 and USB cables
•Create and modify models and drawings in AutoCAD for customer data sheets and Cable USA website
•Write manufacturing specifications for in-house floor production
•Write and provide data sheets to customers to include all pertinent information on their cable, including a cross-sectional view and step by step construction information
•Test cables for impedance and capacitance using a VNA, when information is critical for performance
•Test cables to CAT5 and CAT6 standards
•Process all incoming orders to verify correct construction, cost, and print on all cables
•Maintain customer and internal engineering documents

•Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, MATLAB, Oracle, Anritsu VNA, and Microsoft Office
•Electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineering
•Detail oriented and well organized
•Fluent in French
