2006 – Present
Engineer/Assistant Engineer
F/V Arctic Sea – Seattle, WA - Responsible to keep boat and equipment operating as intended. Work a full position on deck while monitoring status of engine room, deck systems and equipment. Manage repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime and cost. Generally perform engineering tasks during runs and offloads. Return boat to tip-top shape during annual shipyard period.
1999- Present
Owner/Operator
F/V Net Profit - Successful Bristol Bay salmon boat operating June through July. Responsible for all aspects of operation and consistently in the top 10% of the fleet.
2001 - 2005
Plant Superintendent/ Production Supervisor
Sealed Air Corp. - Managed up to 70 employees over 4 departments, and at times two shifts, in a production environment. Through motivation, training and lean manufacturing techniques we increased production while raising quality and yield as well as employee morale.
