• Relocated Surface Mount Films Production lines from Finland to Italy and England to Macedonia.
• Coordinated cross training between all manufacturing sites.
• Moved product and equipment in Phases in order not to interrupt deliveries to customers.
• Organized logistics consisting of packing, shipping, disconnecting of equipment in shipping plant, installation of equipment in receiving plant. Equipment consisted of pick/place units, conveyor systems, films process equipment, test equipment, automatic packaging equipment, and all manufacturing raw materials.
• Worked with Product Managers to make sure all Customers were notified of product move.

• Reviewed, and purchased, extra Packaging Equipment needed to expand Production lines. Visited vendors for acceptance testing and accompanied vendors during installation in European Production Facilities.

1996 to 2008 Engineering Manager/Project Manager: Responsible to the Vice President of Engineering for
the testing, packaging, and vision equipment for the Ceramics Capacitor Business Unit. Managed 10 direct reports consisting of electrical/mechanical/software engineers and technicians. Responsible
for 25% of capital budget exceeding $25,000,000.
• Acquired and designed integration of capital equipment to meet new product demands, existing production expansion, and quality needs in the surface mount and leaded portion of the Ceramic Business Unit. Equipment consisted of automated pick/place units, Automatic Computer controlled Testers, Inspection Equipment, and Pick/place Packaging Equipment.
• Supported domestic and international vendors to meet their production and quality requirements the most cost effective way. Worked with more than 15 vendors.
Responsible for the logistics and transfer of production equipment in facilities in China and Mexico.
• Implemented vision inspection on all finishing equipment in Mexico and China manufacturing facilities. Net Result: Reduced in-line physical PPM rates from 7000 PPM to 9 PPM, exceeding goal of less than 10 PPM.
• Increased productivity of Testing equipment from 3000 parts/min. to 4000 parts/min.
Net Result: Increased production by approximately 25%.
• Setup large chip Finishing line in China manufacturing facility. Giving company the ability to sell large chip capacitors in the Asian market. The cost of the line ranged in capital was around $400,000 US dollars. This will give capacity in income of $100,000 US dollars a day.
