Seizure detection monitor: Designed, developed, and tested a seizure detection monitor for children under 10, with the objective of innovating camera-based products to improve affordability and usefulness. Created a Force sensor-based monitor that detected Tonic-clonic seizures during sleep and alerted the parents via cellphone; validated the system through a modeling experiment, programming the system, collecting data, and analyzing in MATLAB.
Adjustable armrest: Designed and built a working prototype of an ergonomically-designed adjustable armrest for wheelchair users, using VICON to determine desired range of movement, created the installation plan and manufactured a working prototype.
