Communication
•Worked with classmates to develop a theoretical design for a tooth implantation that would decrease the possibility of infection through the use of antibacterial coating on the titanium components of the implant as well as a more proper fit using 3D printing.
•Worked with classmates to develop and build a program that measured muscle activity and degree of bending in the arm to help demonstrate the concept of muscle recruitment and how injury can effect a person’s day to day life.
•Work with classmates in a small group to develop an inexpensive Fetal Doppler Phantom using myDAQ along with both MatLab and LabVIEW as part of a Senior Design Project. The Device mimicked the movement of the fetal heart as well as the tissues of the mother’s abdomen to allow for testing of Fetal Dopplers in underdeveloped countries.
