DynCorp International Kendahar, Afghanistan
Played a senior role in the maintenance, safety and operation of all on-site electrical equipment for the United States Military in Kendahar, Afghanistan. Responsible for ensuring the safety of up to 20 employees by performing accurate Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and ensuring that NFPA 70 E standards are adequately followed with the rated PPE, tools and equipment. Ensured appropriate excavation procedures are followed. Tracked and made available the neceassary permits required for project completion. Ensured OSHA policies are adhered to. Reviewed with employees the chemicals being used with the use of the company’s MSDS. Completed records of inspection findings and incidents while providing process improvements.
