•Studying different process options within the area of bio-refinery
•Developing process integration solutions, and dynamic modeling of the processes within a bio refinery. At a later stage there will be a plant-wide control model developed for an integrated bio-refinery.
Senior Process Engineer / Jun 2013 – Nov. 2014
PetroPlat, Melbourne, Australia
•Developed tender documents and proposals. I prepared/managed preparation of about 10 technical proposal for clients in different areas (Petrochemical, waste water management, power plants).
•Performed and/or managed engineering calculations in line sizing (liquid phase, gas phase, and multiphase), hydraulic calculations, pump sizing and selection, PSV sizing, etc.
•Generated and/or reviewed PFD, P&ID and site layouts.
Process Engineer / Jan 2011 – Apr 2013
HATCH, Brisbane, Australia
•Successfully performed the common process engineering responsibilities, such as developing mass and energy balances, BFD, PFD, P&ID and site layouts, preparing technical reports and developing technical specifications based on which I contacted the vendors.
•Responsible for the environmental aspect of a 2.5 MT per annum integrated iron and steel FEED project. For this, I developed an emission model and I also generated an “environmental design criteria” document.
•Took the responsibility, within Energy subdivision of HATCH, of conducting almost all of what fell into process engineering category for a 2nd phase greenfield project, involving three combined cycle gas power plants.
