Position: Field Engineer
Construction of a trapezoidal shape 55-million gallon water reservoir for the City of Los Angeles in the Silverlake neighborhood.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance/ Quality Control of Concrete Pours, in specific making sure slumps work within specifications and steel reinforcement was placed by contract drawings
- Prepared and reviewed submittals and RFIs involving the steel reinforcement of the tank, false work, concrete mix design, piping and chemical processing, and thermal control of concrete.
- Supported field personnel with drawings/ sketches done in Auto-CAD/ Microstation
- Document Control using Primavera data management software for Submittals, RFI, and Project Correspondence
- Responsible for tracking, assessing, and repairing concrete cracks of the reservoir.
